Morning Meal

I love oatmeal. And thank goodness for that because I can't think of an easier, healthier, more satisfying thing to consume every morning to get myself ready for the day. I never feel hungry later till lunch, it tastes AMAZING due to the stuff I sprinkle on top of it, and it's so easy to make I can do it before work!

I tend to overcook my oatmeal a little bit because I like it on the sticky side. Usual toppings are from the following: blueberries, raspberries, bananas, walnuts, almonds, flax seed, wheat germ, agave nectar, maple syrup, cinnamon, soy milk, and/or almond milk.

Today I went with almond milk, walnuts, agave and cinnamon! No fruit this morning because I haven't been to the grocery store in far too long :). Of course as I went to take this picture my camera battery died, so here is a wonderful, high-quality iPhone picture. And yes, I still have the original 1st-gen one.



  1. I like peanut butter in my oatmeal sometimes, it adds protein and tastes great too.
